APW - Elgin, Veritas with winding indicator, 16S, GF OF recase, SW-LS, WED with sunken seconds and WI, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel arbor, 23J, GJS with classic fancy full balance cap setting, fishscale center pattern NI damascene with radiant surround, s#24214794.
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, indicator registering at 39 hours when wound down and advancing properly to near 0 when fully wound, excellent mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates, train bridge with small series of FS around the right side plate screw and several additional small FS toward the left side, FS on balance cock outside of fast/slow index, some MFS and few FS scattered elsewhere; dial with faint hls near 6 and 7, tiny edge flake near 5; hands very near mint except for indicator hand with some finish loss; case shows hardly any wear, few MFS, a few long FS on cuvette, some small mild nicks to back perimeter, ET detail very sharp; bow pivots freely, brass replacement crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
